Rücker AG profits from increased demand
Figures for the last six months show a major increase - Consistent improvement in foreign business - Engineers still urgently sought

Increasing demand on the part of the world's automobile and aviation industries and well-known suppliers for engineering development goods and services has benefited Rücker and enabled the group to end the first six months of 2010 with a major increase in turnover and net income. Turnover of the publicly quoted engineering group climbed in those six months by a good ten percent to 73.3 million Euros (66.7 million Euros in the first six months of 2009). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) improved disproportionately from 0.2 to 2.8 million Euros. After tax and interest income was 1.7 million Euros as of 30 June 2010. Last year figures dropped slightly for the same period.
Wolfgang Rücker, chairman of Rücker AG, commented on this development by saying that "Turnover growth in the first six months of 2010 is primarily due to consistent improvement in our foreign business. The market for engineering development goods and services, especially in the automobile field, has fortunately recovered".
Rücker's clients are mainly in the automobile and aviation industries as well as the railway, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, power station construction and environmental engineering fields.
Our staff grew in the first six months of 2010 to 2,200. We're still looking for 300 professional engineers on an urgent basis as our order books are improving and we also need them for our expertise centre at our head office location in Wiesbaden.
